Who We Are

At Tapas Foundation, we are driven by an unwavering commitment to social reform in India. As a registered non-profit organization, we have taken on the profound responsibility of dismantling the deep-rooted social injustices that afflict our society.

What We Do

Tapas foundation recognizes that all-round reform can be achieved by a multifaceted approach comprising of activation at the grassroots level, outreach and reform of the urban population and advocacy involving change makers and those in power. Tapas Foundation works with several CSOs, NGOs as well as government bodies and corporates by designing and curating social campaigns around social issues, while raising awareness to make a difference, ensuring help to those in need.

Our Mission

We strive to be the voice for those who often find themselves silenced and powerless, shedding light on the pressing social issues that plague marginalized communities. Our mission is to garner attention and support for these critical issues through inclusive grassroots campaigns, with a primary focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Tapas foundation has been working since 2015, and has worked on over 50 campaigns on issues like anti-trafficking, women empowerment, education, environment, children’s rights, child marriage, hunger relief, water scarcity and many more.



Through his dedicated social activism, Vipul Singh has amassed widespread recognition and respect. A man of action who has previously been mentally and physically disabled, Vipul Singh has not only earned records for highest number of solo-street plays but has also to be known as an impactful and prominent public speaker. He has taken his message of social reform to the stages of TEDx Delhi, TEDx RGVP, TEDx NIT Raipur, BITS Pilani and others.

Tapas foundation has raises resources through the following sources:

Vendor contracts from other NGOs and government bodies
When curating any proposal, Tapas foundation underlines the entire budget of its campaigns, which are put to use accordingly. We make sure that the major portions of the funds we receive are allocated towards social betterment.

A minor portion of our funds is directed towards maintaining administrative functions and employee remunerations.

The employees at Tapas foundation are paid a regular-salary. This is important for us to employ skilled and dedicated people who would work whole-heartedly towards social betterment.

We maintain a vast network of interns and volunteers who work with us from time to time. These too are paid regular stipends for their work on specific projects.

Tapas foundation works on a spectrum of social issues, ranging from menstruation, women empowerment, education, child marriage, child labour, anti-trafficking, environment, water crisis, hunger and starvation, and relief work among others.

Tapas foundation is a dynamic organization, which is flexible and dedicated to work on any pressing issue, curating specially designed campaigns based on extensive research and specific expertise of the team.

We maintain a vast network of interns and volunteers who work with us from time to time. These too are paid regular stipends for their work on specific projects.
