Tapas Foundation is a registered non-profit organization driven by the goal of working on social reform in India. Covering a wide spectrum of social issues, Tapas works to weaken the stronghold of social evils plaguing Indian society.
Becoming a mouthpiece for those who often find themselves helpless and voiceless, Tapas aims to bring much need attention to prominent social issues faced by the marginalized communities. Tapas foundation works to achieve this through inclusive social reform campaigns at the grassroots level with tier 2 and tier 3 cities as its primary focus area.
The work of Tapas foundation ranges over a wide spectrum of social issues, with specially curated campaigns as per the need and volatility of the issue. Tapas foundation has done relevant work in areas like women empowerment, anti-trafficking, child marriage, education, hunger relief and water scarcity, and environment among many others. But our main focus areas remain women empowerment, education and environment.

Having been in action since 2015, Tapas foundation is a compact organization dedicated to the goal of working for the betterment of society by amplifying the voices of those at the receiving end of any form of social injustice.
At Tapas foundation, we believe that ‘awareness is the first step to social reform’. Spearheaded by Vipul Singh, a widely celebrated social activist and solo street play performer, Tapas foundation is comprised of a group of socially conscious and driven individuals working towards social change.
WHAT WE DO?
Tapas foundation recognizes that all-round reform can be achieved by a multifaceted approach comprising of activation at the grassroots level, outreach and reform of the urban population and advocacy involving change makers and those in power. Tapas Foundation works with several CSOs, NGOs as well as government bodies and corporates by designing and curating social campaigns around social issues, while raising awareness to make a difference, ensuring help to those in need.
Our mission is to work towards a socially reformed world. And we believe that awareness is the first step towards any quantifiable change, and so the main crux of all our campaigns revolves around awareness creation on ground level as well as through social media.
